At Butlerville, we not only care about the safety and care of our clients, but also that of our equipment. As more and more of you are finding use in our multimedia equipment, we'd like to give a few general machine-handling reminders.
- Follow operational and safety instructions in the manual
- Use equipement safely and only for its intended purpose
- Never force parts of equipment that do not fit or operate easily.
- Don't drop or knock equipment
- Wrap power cords around the leg or handle of a table or trolley
- Prevent heat build-up by allowing adequate air circulation - eg. do not block ventilation slots by placing equipment on a soft surface or by operating it in an enclosed area, such as on a shelf
- Read the manual
- Make sure equipment is OFF when plugging AC cord into outlet
- To disconnect any cord from a machine, grasp the plug. Never pull the cord.
